Plan for Worship Services and Programming at Faith Fellowship

(Website announcement #2 – March 27, 2020 – COVID 19)

We will again be providing on-line streaming on “Facebook live” for our Sunday worship services at 10:30 A.M. We plan to continue this through April 2020. We encourage you to join us as you can. Continue to check notices here on our webpage and on Facebook. Check out and join our church Facebook page.

Although we are taking these measures to limit group meetings, please know that your pastor, deacons and small group leaders stand ready and available to serve those who are homebound or have need of assistance or ministry. We will continue to work on new ways to continue our ministry efforts to one another. We want to help us stay connected in healthy and positive ways.

Easter 2020 plans
We are offering the following to enrich our family celebrations at Easter. Believing the Lord is working in all these present conditions to possibly help us reorder our lives and ways of doing things, we are praying that these plans and resources will guide us in leading our families to Celebrate our Risen Savior in new and meaningful ways like never before. We are hopeful you will invite others you know to join with us.

1. We plan to offer online daily Easter Family devotionals beginning Palm Sunday April 4th through Easter Sunday April 12th. Our Family ministry team is preparing Easter@Home guides for our families.  We are still working out the details, but we plan to offer a daily devotional each day of Holy week. We are planning to use Facebook, emails and our Church Website to post these devotionals. We plan to mail the Easter@Home guides to families we know in our church who have children at home. We will also try to provide Easter@Home guides for people upon request for mailing or emailing the guide in a PDF file to print at home.

2. On Palm Sunday April 4th, we will offer the Lord’s Supper during our online service. We will invite our folks to have the elements ready for our service. They can use crackers or bread and some form of juice of their choosing. We are prayerful that celebrating in this way will add a physical aspect of participating together with this beautiful sacrament.

3. On Easter Sunday, Bro. David is going to work to have a family puppet team presentation to begin our Easter Facebook Live streaming service. We plan to begin this Family Puppet presentation at 10:20 A.M. This will allow for engaging families in a children-friendly activity and add a multi-generational aspect to our online presence.

Dream with me about the day when we are able to meet again and shake hands. With every passing day, as we wait faithfully on the Lord our anticipation will build. Then when we finally get to meet again together, what we often take for granted, will be such a sweet reunion! I for one don’t want to miss it! Until then, let us remember our Lord is working. Let us hold to His word and remember one another in prayer. Let us keep love in action! (Romans 12:9-13)

Remember to join us if you can on Facebook Live on our church webpage this Sunday at 10:30 A.M.
